Nelson's and Peoples National Bank Support The Local Food Shelves!
|
Each year, Peoples National Bank sponsors a local ‘Supermarket Sweep’ to collect much needed food items for the local food shelves. This year, Peoples National Bank partnered with Nelson’s Market of Mora and North Branch to raise over $14,000 worth of food!
Local businesses sign up for the sweep, and each ‘team’ had 90 seconds to run through the stores and fill their carts with as much product as they can! Peoples National Bank paid for the largest cart in each city. The competition was intense, but in the end the real winners were the local food shelves and their patrons.
